Narrated Anas bin Malik (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

I went along with the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) to Khaibar so

as to serve him. (Later on) when the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam)

returned he, on seeing the Uhud mountain, said, "This is a mountain that

loves us and is loved by us." Then he pointed to Medina with his hand

saying, "O Allah! I make the area which is in between Medina's two

mountains a sanctuary, as Abraham made Makkah a sanctuary. O Allah! Bless

us in our Sa and Mudd (i.e. units of measuring)."

Narrated Anas (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

We were with the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) (on a journey) and

the only shade one could have was the shade made by one's own garment.

Those who fasted did not do any work and those who did not fast served the

camels and brought the water on them and treated the sick and (wounded).

So, the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Today, those who were

not fasting took (all) the reward."

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Charity is obligatory

everyday on every joint of a human being. If one helps a person in matters

concerning his riding animal by helping him to ride it or by lifting his

luggage on to it, all this will be regarded charity. A good word, and every

step one takes to offer the compulsory Congregational prayer, is regarded

as charity; and guiding somebody on the road is regarded as charity."

Narrated Sahl bin Sad As-Sa'di (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "To guard Muslims from

infidels in Allah's Cause for one day is better than the world and whatever

is on its surface, and a place in Paradise as small as that occupied by the

whip of one of you is better than the world and whatever is on its surface;

and a morning's or an evening's journey which a slave (person) travels in

Allah's Cause is better than the world and whatever is on its surface."

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "It is obligatory for one

Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

That heard Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) saying, "We are

the last but will be the foremost to enter Paradise)." The Prophet

(Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) added, "He who obeys me, obeys Allah, and he

who disobeys me, disobeys Allah. He who obeys the chief, obeys me, and he

who disobeys the chief, disobeys me. The Imam is like a shelter for whose

safety the Muslims should fight and where they should seek protection. If

the Imam orders people with righteousness and rules justly, then he will be

rewarded for that, and if he does the opposite, he will be responsible for

that."

Narrated Anas (Radi-Allahu 'anhu):

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) reached Khaibar in the morning,

while the people were coming out carrying their spades over their

shoulders. When they saw him they said, "This is Muhammad and his army!

Muhammad and his army!" So, they took refuge in the fort. The Prophet

(Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) raised both his hands and said, "Allahu

Akbar, Khaibar is ruined, for when we approach a nation (i.e. enemy to

fight) then miserable is the morning of the warned ones." Then we found

some donkeys which we (killed and) cooked: The announcer of the Prophet

(Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) announced: "Allah and His Apostle forbid you

to eat donkey's meat." So, all the pots including their contents were

turned upside down.

While I was in the company of 'Abdullah bin 'Umar on the way to Makkah, he

he dismounted and offered the Maghrib and 'Isha 'prayers together and said,

"I saw the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) delaying the Maghrib

prayer to offer it along with the 'Isha' when he was in a hurry on a

journey."

The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Three persons will get

their reward twice. (One is) a person who has a slave girl and he educates

her properly and teaches her good manners properly (without violence) and

then manumits and marries her. Such a person will get a double reward.

(Another is) a believer from the people of the scriptures who has been a

true believer and then he believes in the Prophet (Muhammad). Such a person

will get a double reward. (The third is) a slave who observes Allah's

Rights and Obligations and is sincere to his master."
