shaikhrafique
By Muhammad Rafique Etesame The holy Quran reveals, “Unto God belongs all that is in the heavens and all that is on earth. And whether you bring into the open what is in your minds or conceal it, God will call you to account for it; and then He will forgive whom He wills, and will chastise whom He wills: for God has the power to will anything. Al-Baqara (The Cow) 2:284 The companions of the holy Prophet PBUH became very confused after hearing this verse, and they did not experience such grief before. Because Allah has appointed two angels over every man to write his good or bad deeds as the holy Quran reveals,” But verily, over you (are appointed angels in charge of mankind) to watch you. Kiraman (honorable) Katibin writing down (your deeds). They know all that you do”. ﴾Al infitar:12 And then wrong thinking is a hidden act that is not in the control of man because these come in the mind automatically, then what to do? But when the companions said this state of affairs to the holy Prophet PBUH, he comforted them as the holy Quran reveals,” The messenger believeth in that which hath been revealed unto him from his Lord and (so do) believers. Each one believeth in Allah and His angels and His scriptures and His messengers - We make no distinction between any of His messengers – (and they say)” We hear, and we obey”). (Grant us) Thy forgiveness, our Lord. Unto Thee is the journeying. AL- infitar:285. According to the commentators, the man will be the sinful when he acts upon the uncontrollably thoughts. For example, if he sees an unmarried woman or by her his wedding is lawful, and he falls in love with her so much that he wants to commit adultery with her, So… the adultery of eyes is, speaking to an unmarried woman, and adultery of lounge is, obscene taking with her, so, if he does not commit adultery with her by fearing Allah so, his adultery of eyes and lounge will be forgiven, and if recommitted, then his adultery is confirmed. Similarly, if someone is going for theft but on the way he feared Allah and forsook the intention of theft and returned back so, he will not be guilty due to his intention of theft. The holy Quran reveals,” Those who avoid enormities of sin and abominations, save the unwilled offences - (for them) lo! thy Lord is of vast mercy. He is Best Aware of you (from the time) when He created you from the earth, and when ye were hidden in the bellies of your mothers. Therefor ascribe not purity unto yourselves. He is Best Aware of him who wards off (evil). (ANajm:32). So, unless a faithful believer acts upon the wrong thinking, he will never be taken into account, but he should try his best to remove such type of thoughts and should upon them and Allah is forgiving and merciful.
