ummtaalib
One should recite the following dua when fearing the enemy: اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَجْعَلُكَ فِي نُحُورِهِمْ وَنَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شُرُورِهِم O Allāh, we place You at their throats (i.e. we put You in front of them), and we seek Your refuge from their evil عن أبي بردة بن عبد الله، أن أباه حدثه، أن النبي صلى عليه وسلم كان إذا خاف قوما، قال: اللهم إنا نجعلك في نحورهم، ونعوذ بك من شرورهم (سنن أبي داود، الرقم: 1537) Hazrat Abu Musa Ashari (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) would recite the following dua when he feared (the evil of) a group of people: اللَّهُمَّ إِنَّا نَجْعَلُكَ فِي نُحُورِهِمْ وَنَعُوذُ بِكَ مِنْ شُرُورِهِم ihyaauddeen..co.za
ummtaalib
One should recite the following dua when fearing the enemy اَللّٰهُمَّ اكْفِنَاهُ بِمَا شِئْتَ O Allah, suffice us of his evil in the manner You wish (صحيح ابن حبان، الرقم: 6281) Hazrat Abu Bakr (radhiyallahu ‘anhu) said, “When Suraaqa bin Maalik bin Ju’shum came close to us (during the journey of hijrat and he had not yet embraced Islam), and there was only a distance of two or three spears between us, I said (to Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam)), ‘The pursuers have caught us, O Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam)!’…Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) made dua against him saying, اَللّٰهُمَّ اكْفِنَاهُ بِمَا شِئْتَ ihyaauddeen..co.za
ummtaalib
One should recite the following dua when overcome by fear I seek protection through the complete words of Allah Ta’ala from His anger, the evil of His servants, the whispers of the Shayateen and of their presence. عن عمرو بن شعيب، عن أبيه، عن جده، أن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم كان يعلمهم من الفزع كلمات: أعوذ بكلمات الله التامة، من غضبه وشر عباده، ومن همزات الشياطين وأن يحضرون (سنن أبي داود، الرقم: 3893) Hazrat Abdullah bin Amr (radhiyallahu ‘anhuma) reports that Rasulullah (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam) would teach the Sahaabah (radhiyallahu ‘anhum) to recite the following dua when experiencing fear: أَعُوذُ بِكَلِمَاتِ اللَّهِ التَّامَّةِ، مِنْ غَضَبِهِ وَشَرِّ عِبَادِهِ، وَمِنْ هَمَزَاتِ الشَّيَاطِينِ وَأَنْ يَحْضُرُون ihyaauddeen..co.za
