Car dealer arranging finance for the customer

Q: I want to sell my car and I know that in most cases many people will not be able to buy it cash, and I know a car dealer who arranges finance for the customers. Can I advertise the car and say finance can be arranged, and when a customer comes to me then I send him to the car dealer that I know will assist him with the finance, will this be permissible?



A: This is impermissible as you will be encouraging people to take interest bearing loans from the bank.

And Allah Ta'ala (الله تعالى) knows best

وَتَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْبِرِّ وَالتَّقْوَىٰ وَلَا تَعَاوَنُوا عَلَى الْإِثْمِ وَالْعُدْوَانِ وَاتَّقُوا اللَّـهَ إِنَّ اللَّـهَ شَدِيدُ الْعِقَابِ ﴿المائدة: ٢﴾

يَأَيُّهَا الَّذِينَ آمَنُوا لَا تَأْكُلُوا الرِّبَوا أَضْعَافًا مُّضعَفَةً وَاتَّقُوا اللَّـهَ لَعَلَّكُمْ تُفْلِحُونَ ﴿آل عمران: ١٣٠﴾

عن جابر قال لعن رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم آكل الربا وموكله وكاتبه وشاهديه وقال هم سواء (صحيح مسلم # 1598)

عن عبد الله بن حنظلة غسيل الملائكة قال قال رسول الله صلى الله عليه وسلم درهم ربا يأكله الرجل وهو يعلم أشد من ستة وثلاثين زنية ( مسند أحمد # 21957)
