Dawah Team ColonelHardstone Posted May 9, 2015 Dawah Team Report Share Posted May 9, 2015 Summary: The simplest and common sense response to those who advocate eating at KFC, McDonalds is to submit to them that the religion of those slaughtered the meat is neither recorded nor tracked in the West. When you visit KFC the Chicken could have been slaughtered by a Hindu, Buddhist, Christian, Jew or Atheist so do discuss the issue of meat slaughtered by Ahlul-Kitaab (People of the Book) is not established. The proponents are then left with no choice but to “bend the reality” and make a broad assumption that since America (or any other country) is Christian then let’s assume that the slaughterer MUST ALSO be a Christian (or a Jew). This is a logical fallacy apparent to anyone who lives in the West: 1 Does everybody who works with you Jew or Christian? 2 Does your employer even record the religion of the people working with you? 3 Does your country even require a column on the employment application to record your religion? The Shariah aspects of the matter are discussed at length in the article below and the book of Shaykh (Mufti) Taqi Usmani (HA) containing his findings presented to Islamic Scholars of the world at Islamic Fiqh Academy (Jeddah) is also enclosed at the bottom. http://www.central-mosque.com/index.php/General-Fiqh/meat-of-ahlul-kitaab-people-of-the-book.html
