Look what I’ve got!

Do you see?

 

I’ve got new brand shoes

I made them with my own hand

And I can use them

All over the land!

I’ve got new brand shoes

They are made of plastic

I think they’re just fantastic!

 

I’ve got new brand shoes

I didn’t have to choose

In fact,

It was the only pair of plastic bottle left!

But you know, Alhamdulillah!

We got used to be bereft

Of all that kind of stuff they call “necessity”

 

Do you remember mother?

When I asked my father

Why he had always

Been walking with those bare feet?

Do you remember what he said?

He said: “look son! I don’t want anything

To prevent me from being in direct

Physical connection with my beloved land!”

Remember?

Do you think he was right?

Do you think I should throw away

These shoes?

 

No mother!

I will keep them

And I shall never lend them

To anyone else but my father!

And

You know,

Even if they are made only of plastic,

I think they’re still

Incredibly fantastic!
