Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Prayer - 19th Jumada al-Awwal 1433 (11th April 2012) Narrated 'Ubdaidullah Al-Khaulani (Radi Allahu 'anhu): I heard 'Uthman bin 'Affan saying, when people argued too much about his intention to reconstruct the mosque of Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam), "You have talked too much. I heard the Prophet saying, 'Whoever built a mosque, (Bukair thought that 'Asim, another subnarrator, added, "Intending Allah's Pleasure"), Allah would build for him a similar place in Paradise.' " Bukhari Vol. 1 : No. 441

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Prayer - 18th Jumada al-Awwal 1433 (10th April 2012) Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi Allahu 'anhu): Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "The angels keep on asking Allah's forgiveness for anyone of you, as long as he is at his Musalla (praying place) and he does not pass wind (Hadath). They say, 'O Allah! Forgive him, O Allah! be Merciful to him.' " Bukhari Vol. 1 : No. 436

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Prayer - 17th Jumada al-Awwal 1433 (9th April 2012) Narrated Abu Qatada Al-Aslami (Radi Allahu 'anhu): Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "If anyone of you enters a mosque, he should pray two Rakat before sitting." Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Prayer - 16th Jumada al-Awwal 1433 (8th April 2012) Narrated 'Aisha (Radi Allahu 'anha): Um Habiba and Um Salama mentioned about a church they had seen in Ethiopia in which there were pictures. They told the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) about it, on which he said, "If any religious man dies amongst those people they would build a place of worship at his grave and make these pictures in it. They will be the worst creature in the sight of Allah on the Day of Resurrection." Bukhari Vol. 1 : No. 419

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Prayer - 15th Jumada al-Awwal 1433 (7th April 2012) Narrated Abu Aiyub Al-Ansari (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "While defecating, neither face nor turn your back to the Qibla but face either east or west." Abu Aiyub added. "When we arrived in Sham we came across some lavatories facing the Qibla; therefore we turned ourselves while using them and asked for Allah's forgiveness." Bukhari Vol. 1 : No. 388

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Prayer - 14th Jumada al-Awwal 1433 (6th April 2012) Narrated 'Aisha (Radi-Allahu 'anha): The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) prayed in a Khamisa (a square garment) having marks. During the prayer, he looked at its marks. So when he finished the prayer he said, "Take this Khamisa of mine to Abu Jahm and get me his Inbijaniya (a woollen garment without marks) as it (the Khamisa) has diverted my attention from the prayer." Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Ablution - 13th Jumada al-Awwal 1433 (5th April 2012) Narrated 'Ammar (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) stroked the earth with his hands and then passed them over his face and the backs of his hands (while demonstrating Tayammum). Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Ablution - 10th Jumada al-Awwal 1433 (2nd April 2012) Narrated 'Aisha (Radi-Allahu 'anha): Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "If anyone of you feels drowsy while praying he should go to bed (sleep) till his slumber is over because in praying while drowsy one does not know whether one is asking for forgiveness or for a bad thing for oneself." Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Ablution - 7th Jumada al-Awwal 1433 (30th March 2012) Narrated Anas (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): Whenever the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) went to answer the call of nature, he used to say, "Allah-umma inni a'udhu bika minal khubuthi wal khaba'ith i.e. O Allah, I seek Refuge with You from all offensive and wicked things (evil deeds and evil spirits)." Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Ablution - 6th Jumada al-Awwal 1433 (29th March 2012) Narrated Nu'am Al-Mujmir (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): Once I went up to the roof of the mosque, along with Abu Huraira. He performed ablution and said, "I heard the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) saying, 'On the Day of Resurrection, my followers will be called "Al-Ghurr-ul-Muhajjalun" from the trace of ablution, and whoever can increase the area of his radiance should do so (i.e. by performing ablution regularly).' " Bukhari Vol. 1 : No. 138

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Knowledge - 5th Jumada al-Awwal 1433 (28th March 2012) Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "The prayer of a person who does Hadath (passes urine, stool or wind) is not accepted till he performs (repeats) the ablution." A person from Hadaramout asked Abu Huraira, "What is Hadath?" Abu Huraira replied, "Hadath means the passing of wind from the anus." Bukhari Vol. 1 : No. 137

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Knowledge - 4th Jumada al-Awwal 1433 (27th March 2012) Narrated Jarir (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said to me during Hajjat-al-Wida': Let the people keep quiet and listen. Then he said (addressing the people), "Do not (become infidels) revert to disbelief after me by striking the necks (cutting the throats) of one another (killing each other)." Bukhari Vol. 1 : No. 122

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Knowledge - 3rd Jumada al-Awwal 1433 (26th March 2012) Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Name yourselves with my name (use my name) but do not name yourselves with my Kunya name (i.e. Abu-l Qasim). And whoever sees me in a dream then surely he has seen me for Satan cannot impersonate me. And whoever tells a lie against me (intentionally), then (surely) let him occupy his seat in Hell-fire." Bukhari Vol. 1 : No. 110

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Knowledge - 2nd Jumada al-Awwal 1433 (25th March 2012) Narrated Abu Said Al-Khudri (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): Some women requested the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) to fix a day for them as the men were taking all his time. On that he promised them one day for religious lessons and commandments. Once during such a lesson the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "A woman whose three children die will be shielded by them from the Hell fire." On that a woman asked, "If only two die?" He replied, "Even two (will shield her from the Hell-fire)." Bukhari Vol. 1 : No. 101

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Knowledge - 1st Jumada al-Awwal 1433 (24th March 2012) Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr bin Al' As (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): I heard Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) saying, "Allah does not take away the knowledge, by taking it away from (the hearts of) the people, but takes it away by the death of the religious learned men till when none of the (religious learned men) remains, people will take as their leaders ignorant persons who when consulted will give their verdict without knowledge. So they will go astray and will lead the people astray." Bukhari Vol. 1 : No. 100

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Knowledge - 30th Rabi al-Thani 1433 (23rd March 2012) Narrated Anas (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "From among the portents of the Hour are (the following): 1. Religious knowledge will be taken away (by the death of Religious learned men). 2. (Religious) ignorance will prevail. 3. Drinking of Alcoholic drinks (will be very common). 4. There will be prevalence of open illegal sexual intercourse. Bukhari Vol. 1 : No. 80 portent - an indication or omen of something about to happen. In this case, it is referring to signs showing that the Last Hour before the Day of Resurrection is nearing. May Allah have mercy on all.

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Knowledge - 28th Rabi al-Thani 1433 (21st March 2012) Narrated Muawiya (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): I heard Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) saying, "If Allah wants to do good to a person, He makes him comprehend the religion. I am just a distributor, but the grant is from Allah. (And remember) that this nation (true Muslims) will keep on following Allah's teachings strictly and they will not be harmed by any one going on a different path till Allah's order (Day of Judgment) is established." Bukhari Vol. 1 : No. 71

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Knowledge - 27th Rabi al-Thani 1433 (20th March 2012) Narrated Ibn Mas'ud (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) used to take care of us in preaching by selecting a suitable time, so that we might not get bored. (He abstained from pestering us with sermons and knowledge all the time). Bukhari Vol. 1 : No. 68

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Knowledge - 26th Rabi al-Thani 1433 (19th March 2012) Narrated 'Abdullah bin 'Amr (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): Once the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) remained behind us in a journey. He joined us while we were performing ablution for the prayer which was over-due. We were just passing wet hands over our feet (and not washing them properly) so the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) addressed us in a loud voice and said twice or thrice: "Save your heels from the fire." Bukhari Vol. 1 : No. 57

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Belief - 25th Rabi al-Thani 1433 (18th March 2012) Narrated Abu Mas'ud (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "If a man spends on his family (with the intention of having a reward from Allah) sincerely for Allah's sake then it is a (kind of) alms-giving in reward for him." Bukhari Vol. 1 : No. 52

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Belief - 24th Rabi al-Thani 1433 (17th March 2012) Narrated Anas (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Whoever said 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of a barley grain will be taken out of Hell.' And whoever said: 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of a wheat grain will be taken out of Hell.' And whoever said, 'None has the right to be worshipped but Allah and has in his heart good (faith) equal to the weight of an atom will be taken out of Hell.' " Bukhari Vol. 1 : No. 42
