Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Fasting - 18th Ramadan 1431 (28th August 2010) Narrated Sahl bin Sad (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "The people will remain on the right path as long as they hasten the breaking of the fast." Bukhari Vol. 3 : No. 178

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Fasting - 17th Ramadan 1431 (27th August 2010) Narrated Ibn Abbas (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): A man came to the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) and said, "O Allah's Apostle! My mother died and she ought to have fasted one month (for her missed Ramadan). Shall I fast on her behalf?" The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) replied in the affirmative and said, "Allah's debts have more right to be paid." In another narration a woman is reported to have said, "My sister died..." Narrated Ibn 'Abbas: A woman said to the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) "My mother died and she had vowed to fast but she didn't fast." In another narration Ibn 'Abbas is reported to have said, "A woman said to the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam), "My mother died while she ought to have fasted for fifteen days."   4. Always remember that Heaven in under mother's feet so try to make her happy and if she isn't alive try to make Sadaqa Garea for her May ALLAH -swt- help us to make our parents happy.

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Fasting - 16th Ramadan 1431 (26th August 2010) Narrated Tawus (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): Ibn 'Abbas said, "Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) set out from Medina to Makkah and he fasted till he reached 'Usfan, where he asked for water and raised his hand to let the people see him, and then broke the fast, and did not fast after that till he reached Makkah, and that happened in Ramadan." Ibn 'Abbas used to say, "Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) (sometimes) fasted and (sometimes) did not fast during the journeys so whoever wished to fast could fast, and whoever wished not to fast, could do so." Bukhari Vol. 3 : No. 169

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Fasting - 15th Ramadan 1431 (25th August 2010) Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): While we were sitting with the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) a man came and said, "O Allah's Apostle! I have been ruined." Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) asked what was the matter with him. He replied "I had sexual intercourse with my wife while I was fasting." Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) asked him, "Can you afford to manumit a slave?" He replied in the negative. Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) asked him, "Can you fast for two successive months?" He replied in the negative. The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) asked him, "Can you afford to feed sixty poor persons?" He replied in the negative. The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) kept silent and while we were in that state, a big basket full of dates was brought to the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam). He asked, "Where is the questioner?" He replied, "I (am here)." The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said (to him), "Take this (basket of dates) and give it in charity." The man said, "Should I give it to a person poorer than I? By Allah; there is no family between its (i.e. Medina's) two mountains who are poorer than I." The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) smiled till his pre-molar teeth became visible and then said, 'Feed your family with it." Bukhari Vol. 3 : No. 157

Bukhari :: Book 2 :: Volume 21 :: Hadith 274 Narrated Abu Huraira: My friend (the Prophet) advised me to do three things and I shall not leave them till I die, these are: To fast three days every month, to offer the Duha prayer, and to offer Witr before sleeping. The Time of the Duha prayer is starting after 15 mins from the sun rise till before 10 mins from the Zuhur Azan and it could be prayed not less than 2 Rakat's and not more than 8 Rakat's

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Fasting - 14th Ramadan 1431 (24th August 2010) Narrated Abu Huraira (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "If somebody eats or drinks forgetfully then he should complete his fast, for what he has eaten or drunk, has been given to him by Allah." Narrated 'Amir bin Rabi'a, "I saw the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) cleaning his teeth with Siwak while he was fasting so many times as I can't count." And narrated Abu Huraira, "The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, 'But for my fear that it would be hard for my followers, I would have ordered them to clean their teeth with Siwak on every performance of ablution." The same is narrated by Jabir and Zaid bin Khalid from the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) who did not differentiate between a fasting and a nonfasting person in this respect (using Siwak). Aisha (Radi-Allahu 'anha) said, "The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "It (i.e. Siwak) is a purification for the mouth and it is a way of seeking Allah's pleasures." Ata' and Qatada said, "There is no harm in swallowing the resultant saliva." Bukhari Vol. 3 : No. 154

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Fasting - 13th Ramadan 1431 (23rd August 2010) Narrated 'Aisha (Radi-Allahu 'anha): The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) used to kiss and embrace (his wives) while he was fasting, and he had more power to control his desires than any of you. Said Jabir, "The person who gets discharge after casting a look (on his wife) should complete his fast." Bukhari Vol. 3 : No. 149

Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Fasting - 11th Ramadan 1431 (21st August 2010) Narrated 'Abdullah (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) fasted for days continuously; the people also did the same but it was difficult for them. So, the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) forbade them (to fast continuously for more than one day). They said, "But you fast without break (no food was taken in the evening or in the morning)." The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) replied, "I am not like you, for I am provided with food and drink (by Allah)." Bukhari Vol. 3 : No. 145
  17. Narrated Jabir bin Abdullah (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): While Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) was distributing the booty at Al-Ja'rana, somebody said to him "Be just (in your distribution)." The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) replied, "Verily I would be miserable if I did not act justly." Bukhari Vol. 4 : No. 366
  18. Remember to be generous and give more for charity, with intention that it's for ALLAH's sake.
  19. Always remember to talk good about anyone even those who aren't with you.
  20. Narrated Khaula Al-Ansariya (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): I heard Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) saying, "Some people spend Allah's Wealth (i.e. Muslim's wealth) in an unjust manner; such people will be put in the (Hell) Fire on the Day of Resurrection." Bukhari Vol. 4 : No. 347
  21. I planted some fruit trees beside the grave of my beloved dad and grand ma. Will this be considered as Sadaqa Jarea ? As sister Aminah and sister Safah said, you just make your intention that those are planted as a Sadaqa Jarea for them and In shaa ALLAH, those will be accepted and made thousands of mountains of Hasanat And ALLAH knows best.
  22. Always remember to be Fair in everything, even with those whom you don't like.

Narrated Muawiya (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "If Allah wants to do good for somebody, he makes him comprehend the Religion (i.e. Islam), and Allah is the Giver and I am Al-Qasim (i.e. the distributor), and this (Muslim) nation will remain victorious over their opponents, till Allah's Order comes and they will still be victorious " Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "Neither do I give you (anything) nor withhold (anything) from you, but I am just a distributor (i.e. Qasim), and I give as I am ordered." Bukhari Vol. 4 : No. 346
  24. Why not you Sisters make something like (Sadaqa Jarea) for them ? that would be so great and so good from you
  25. Narrated 'Ali (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): Fatima complained of what she suffered from the hand mill and from grinding, when she got the news that some slave girls of the booty had been brought to Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam). She went to him to ask for a maid-servant, but she could not find him, and told 'Aisha of her need. When the Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) came, Aisha informed him of that. The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) came to our house when we had gone to our beds. (On seeing the Prophet) we were going to get up, but he said, 'Keep at your places,' I felt the coolness of the Prophet's feet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) on my chest. Then he said, "Shall I tell you a thing which is better than what you asked me for? When you go to your beds, say: 'Allahu Akbar (i.e. Allah is Greater)' for 34 times, and 'Alhamdu Lillah (i.e. all the praises are for Allah)' for 33 times, and Subhan Allah (i.e. Glorified be Allah) for 33 times. This is better for you than what you have requested." Bukhari Vol. 4 : No. 344
