Why do people accept or convert to the religion of Islam? (2) By Mohammad Rafique Etesame Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) said, "Every child is born with a true faith of Islam (i.e. to worship none but Allah Alone) but his parents convert him to Judaism, Christianity or Magainism, as an animal delivers a perfect baby animal. Do you find it mutilated?" Then Abu Huraira recited the holy verses: {فِطْرَةَ اللَّهِ الَّتِي فَطَرَ النَّاسَ عَلَيْهَا لاَ تَبْدِيلَ لِخَلْقِ اللَّهِ ذَلِكَ الدِّينُ الْقَيِّمُ} "The pure Allah's Islamic nature (true faith of Islam) (i.e. worshipping none but Allah) with which He has created human beings. No change let there be in the religion of Allah (i.e. joining none in worship with Allah). That is the straight religion (Islam) but most of men know, not." (30.30) Every child born on the right nature means that every child born with a true faith of Islam because he has seen Allah Almighty already at the “yaume alast“ and has testified about Him as being his Lord and The Creator of the world and that is why the foundation of Islam is rooted in his heart. But when he becomes a young, he adopts his forefather’s religion automatically. But reality is: the passion, devotion and longing of Islam exists in his heart yet. That is why in most cases, we see that many people try their best to study and understand Islam and at last they accept or convert to Islam. (The end)

Why do people accept or convert to the religion of Islam? (1) By Mohammad Rafique Etesame The holy Qur’an makes mention,” Lo! religion with Allah (is) the Surrender (to His Will and Guidance). Those who (formerly) received the Scripture differed only after knowledge came unto them, through transgression among themselves. Whoso disbelieveth the revelations of Allah (will find that) lo! Allah is swift at reckoning”. (The Family of Imran) 3:19 These verses reveal that the religion with Allah is only Islam but as we see that people follow many religions rather than Islam in the world i.e. Christianity, Judaism, Buddhism, Shinto, Sikhism, Confucianism, Jainism, Hinduism and Taoism etc. The question arises here that why do people follow the various religions for worship and what is the reason behind it? So, the reason is that every man has a sense of worship into him, it means he seriously wishes that he should bow down and or to prostrate before a Supernatural being. That is why when any ruins of ancient civilization are discovered in any part of the world, a temple also exists in it in which people used to worship according to their belief. Now the question is: where from this sense of worship has been created in man, so the holy Qur’an reveals,” And (remember) when thy Lord brought forth from the Children of Adam, from their reins, their seed, and made them testify of themselves, (saying): Am I not your Lord? They said: Yea, verily. We testify. (That was) lest ye should say at the Day of Resurrection: Lo! of this we were unaware; Or lest ye should say: (It is) only (that) our fathers ascribed partners to Allah of old and we were (their) seed after them. Wilt Thou destroy us on account of that which those who follow falsehood did? (Al-A'raf (The Heights) 7:172 ). (To be continued)

Infidels or the Atheists will desire, would that We Were the Muslims!! By Mohammad Rafique Etesame The holy Qur’an makes mention,” It may be that those who disbelieve, wish ardently that they were Muslims. Let them eat and enjoy life, and let them (false) hope beguile them, they will come to know”. (Al-Hajar:3) These verses reveal that a time will come when the infidels, Atheists or the other None-Muslims will wish seriously that they were the Muslims! The question is: when will this time come? So according to the commentators the first occasion was that when the chieftains of the infidels of Mecca were defeated by the poor Muslims of Madinah in the battle of Badar. Then they wished if they had the Muslims, they would have not been dishonored and defeated. And the second occasion is that when every None-Muslim dies and sees at that time to the Angels capturing souls and tormenting, then he wishes seriously that if he were the Muslim, then he will die easily and would not be punished. And the third occasion was that when Mecca was conquered and the holy Prophet PBUH entered victoriously in it and the disbelievers fear what will happen to us? Would that if we were the Muslims, then will be safe and sound and will get the privileges of the Muslims. And the last occasion will be that when it was Day of Judgement and the Muslims will be made enter the Paradise and the infidels and the sinful Muslims will be made enter the Hellfire. Then the infidels will make joke to the Muslims saying that “what type of benefit did you take from your Islam that you are also burning with us?” Then Allah will Ordains that, “Take out (of the Fire) whoever has got faith equal to a mustard seed in his heart. Then those Muslims will be brought out and be entered in Paradise and then the doors of Hell will be closed forever. Then the disbelievers will wish would that if we were the Muslims, we were also be safe from the Hell-fire and will be entered the Paradise.

Who Has Created Your Lord? By Mohammad Rafique Etesame Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle said, "Satan comes to one of you and says, 'who created so-and-so?’ Till he says, 'Who has created your Lord?' So, when he inspires such a question, one should seek refuge with Allah and give up such thoughts"( Bokhari). This hadith reveals that Satan Iblis whispers to a believer about Allah’s existence saying that “who has created God? So that he may cast doubt on him and make him speechless about Allah-Almighty as being a Creator of this universe. And also he may mislead him and causes him not to act upon the teachings of Islam. So in this whisper touches him, the believers must seek refuge in Allah and read: اعوذ باللہ من الشیطٰن الرجیم and put away this whispering. As regards that how can one recognize God, so, a man should consider in various signs i.e. signs in his soul and signs in the horizon. As regards the signs of Allah’s existence in the human’s soul, so he should think about himself that where he come from and how did he was created? So he was a thickened fluid in the womb of mother at first, and then he is delivered in this world and then by and by he becomes young and old and then he embraces the death, this is the reality of human being. A hadith reveals that من عرف نفسہ فقد عرف ربہ “who has recognized himself i.e. his reality, then he can recognize Almighty.” As regards the horizontal signs, so man should consider over the sky, Moon, Sun, Stars, Planets Galaxies and their movements into a fixed circle. Because they are Billions of trillions, but they do not collide with each other at all. The holy Qur’an reveals,” And He it is Who created the night and the day, and the sun and the moon. They float, each in an orbit. ﴾ Al-Anbiya :33﴿ Those who want to recognizes Allah Almighty sincerely and strive for it, then they can find Him surely as the holy Qur’an reveals,” But as for those who strive hard in Our cause -We shall most certainly guide them onto paths that lead unto Us: for, behold, God is indeed with the doers of good” (Al-'Ankabut 29:69). Only Discussion for discussion is not useful in this way.

Be in this world as if you are a stranger or a way-farer! By Mohammad Rafique Etesame `Abdullah bin Umar R.A. said, "Allah's Messenger (ﷺ) took hold of my shoulder and said, 'Be in this world as if you were a stranger or a traveler." The sub-narrator added: Ibn `Umar used to say, "If you survive till the evening, do not expect to be alive in the morning, and if you survive till the morning, do not expect to be alive in the evening, and take from your health for your sickness, and (take) from your life for your death." This hadith reveals that a man (faithful believer) should live in this world as if he is a stranger or a traveler! But, although this is not impossible yet difficult definitely. Only the companions R.A. of the holy Prophet PBUH could act upon this advice. As regards the current era, we see that everyone wants to pass a comfortable and luxury life. In which he should have all facilities, a furnished and spacious home, a sound business and a car etc. Although everyone cannot get all of this, but he tries his best to do so. The hadith further reveals that, “take from your health for your sickness, and (take) from your life for your death. It means that he should value his time and don’t waste it, and does sufficient work lest any sickness falls on him and he cannot do any more. Similarly, he should get from his life that will be useful to him in the Hereafter. It means he should pass his life following to the good example of the holy Prophet PBUH and act upon Shariah orders. Because this is a temporary life while the life after death is everlasting and unlimited. Therefore, the wise man is the one who should value his time and do good actions. May Almighty give us power to act upon this hadith, Amin.

Fire of Enmity can be Put out by Love By Mohammad Rafique Etesame Islam gives the lesson of love, affection, friendship sympathy and tolerance etc. Entire Muslims living in any part of the world are brothers to one another’s by the thread of Islam. It is the religion that lays stress on cleanliness of the hearts from hate malice, hostility, grudge and suspicious etc. The most honorable person in the sight of Islam is the one who is pious and piety. The Holly Qur’an reveals,” Lo! The noblest of you, in the sight of Allah, is the best in conduct. Lo! Allah is Knower, Aware.” (Al-Hojrat: 13) Hazrat Anas bin Malik (R.A), a companion of the Holy Prophet (PBUH), was his attendant and lived in his service for ten years. One day the Holy Prophet (PBUH) said to him,” O my son! If you can pass your life in such a way that you have no hatred or enmity for anyone in your heart; then this is my Sunnah and who loves my Sunnah, as he loves me, and who loves me, will be with me in Paradise.” (Al-Mishkat-ul-Malabeeh). This is the reality that the reaction of hatred always becomes double. It means if someone abuses to other, then other tries even to cut his tongue, and if someone gives a slap on other’s face, the tries to break even his face instead. The Holy Prophet (PBUH) spread Islam by love, pardon, and toleration as the good example of his life reveals. He also put out the fire of enmity going on almost four hundred years among the tribes of Arab by his good morality and character. The Holy Qur’an reveals,” Verily ye have in them a goodly pattern for everyone who looks to Allah and the Last Day. And whosoever may turn away, lo! Still Allah, He is the absolute, the Owner of Praise.” Usually, the basis of hatred and enmity is an outcome of suspicion; that is prohibited in Islam. Almighty Allah Ordains,” O ye who believe! Shun much suspicion, for lo! Some suspicion is a sin. And spy not, neither backbite one another. Would one of you love to eat the flesh of his dead brother? You abhor that (so abhor that other)! And keep your duty (to Allah). Lo! Allah is Relenting, Merciful.” (Al-Hojorat:12) The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said, “O the slaves of Allah, avoid the suspicion! Because it is a false thing, and spy not to anyone, not become jealousy, nor hateful, and not have enmity in your hearts for others, and should not break the relationship with others and be the true brothers to one another’s as it is the command of Allah. Enmity and suspicion is created by anger. So, those who suppress their anger and forgive the people are desirable persons in the sight of Islam (Al-Mishkat). The Holy Prophet (PBUH) said that the real wrestler is not the one who causes the other wrestler down on his back, but it is that who keeps control over his passions at the time of anger. He also said that when anyone becomes angry, if he is standing, sit down, and if he is sitting, then he should lie down and drink water. Because anger is created by fire and fire becomes cold by water. (Almishkat-ul-Masbeeh) So, it is the need of time to put out the fire of enmity among us, by love and affection. May Allah Almighty Give us “Taufeeq” to do so Ameen.

What is the real Friendship and How to Find a Best Friend? (2) By Muhammad Rafique Etesame Now the question is: what Allah has given or will give to man as being his Friend, and similarly what does man can give to Allah Almighty as being His friend? So, what Allah has given to His slave, cannot be counted at all because His treasures of grace and generosity are limitless. He Ordains in the holy Qur’an, “If you want to count God's blessings, you will never be able to count them” (Al-Qur’an). And as for the man, so what can he will give to his Friend on demand? So, he can give to his Friend the most precious thing what he has by himself, and actually that is his soul and the wealth! And if he fulfills this demand, then what will he gain in return it? The holy Qur’an reveals, "Undoubtedly, Allah Almighty has bought from the Muslims their lives and their property in exchange for Paradise." They fight in the cause of Allah, in which they kill and are martyred. For this is the true promise of Allah. In the Torah, in the Gospel, and in the Qur'an. You people rejoice in the sale you have made a deal with and this is a great achievement” (At-taubah: 111). The holy Qur’an reveals, " But your Sustainer says: “Call unto Me, [and] I shall respond to you!” (Ghafir (The Forgiver) 40:60). And,” Nay - who is it that responds to the distressed when he calls out to Him, and who removes the ill [that caused the distress]” (An-Naml (The Ants) 27:62). It means that whenever a faithful believer makes a call without any fixed time and condition, then he will find his Friend with him, Who Says to him,” Don’t worry I am here.” So in order to find such a Great Friend, it is necessary to the believer that he should give something first, and that is according to the basis of friendship that,” whatever I possess, it is not mine but belongs to my friend.” It means he should be surrender himself before the will of Allah Almighty the True Friend, in order to be the successful in this life and also in the Hereafter.

What is the real Friendship and How to Find a Best Friend? (1) By Muhammad Rafique Etesame This is the burning question now-a-days that how to find a best friend? Because the man who has no friend, feels himself alone and desolate. That is why he always looking for a friend that should be the sincere, faithful, honest and selfless one, and is ready to sacrifice everything for the happiness of his friend. And if by good luck someone finds such a friend then he feels that a spring comes in his life, as the buds’ crack, flowers bloom and the colors of rainbow are scattered in the air. The question is, whether it is possible to find such a friend? Although it is not impossible but is difficult also. Because as usual, we find those who are the selfish ones and cut the roots of their friends and make their own way instead. But in this selfish situations, we can find an absolute True Friend Who Stays forever with His bondmen for all time. The One who is invisible but helps his friends and does well to them, The One who is powerful with authority, Knows well how to carry out his command. Yes, this friend is Allah Almighty! The Master, The Creator, and the king of the universe, He is really the True Friend of man. The holy Quran makes mentions about it,” Allah is the Protecting Friend of those who believe. He brings them out of darkness of disbelief to the light of guidance “(2.257). And,” Or they chosen protecting friends other than Allah? In fact, Allah He (alone) is the Protecting friend, He will revive the dead, and He is Able to do all things” (Ash-Shoora: 09). And, “And if they turn away, then know that Allah is your Befriender—a transcendent Patron, a transcendent Helper” (Al-Anfal: 38). The question is: what is the true definition of the friendship? So that is the friend who is of the opinion that whatever I possess, it is not mine but belongs to my friend if he makes demand…. what is this? Yes, this is the real definition of the friendship; but considerable that the limit of friendship is within the realm of reason and Shariah Laws. It means that mutual transactions of friendship will be held based on the shariah laws and not by the lustfulness demand. (To be continued)

The Truth Gets revenge from the sinner ones! By Mohammad Rafique Etesame The holy Qur’an reveals, “We created not the heavens and the earth and all that is between them save with truth, and lo! the Hour is surely coming. So forgive, (O Muhammad), with a gracious forgiveness (Al-Hijr :85) These verses reveal that the entire universe has been created with truth and not in vain. And the truth is that the mankind should worship Allah Almighty as the holy Qur’an reveals. The question is: how to do worship, so, for this purpose Allah Almighty sent His holy messengers PBUT to every nation and they set up a good example to show their people that how to do worship and what Allah Almighty wants? And assuredly man can act upon that whatever he is commanded about Islamic beliefs and action. The holy Qur’an reveals, “God does not burden any human being with more than he is well able to bear.” (Al-Baqara: 2:286) All the holy Messengers (A.S.) were human beings and not angels or from any other supernatural creations, so that the people might not raise an objection. They obeyed all the commands of Allah Almighty and imposed them on their bodies first and then they began to enjoin the good and forbid the evil to their followers. So all man kinds were ever bound to act upon the good example of their holy Prophets (A.S.), and now in the recent age, everyone is bound to obey the holy Prophet Mohammad PBUH. The holy Qur’an reveals, “O ye who believe! Obey Allah, and obey the messenger and those of you who are in authority; (Surah An-Nisa: 58) Allah Almighty Has created a sense of worship in every man, it means he wants to bow down before any supernatural power for worship. That is why we see many ways of worship in the world, some are idolaters, some worship the sun, moon and fire etc. As to satisfy their sense of worship. Infect they follow Satan Iblis to do so, because Allah Almighty Ordains human being to worship Him as the holy Qur’an reveals,” O MANKIND! Worship your Sustainer, who has created you and those who lived before you, so that you might remain conscious of Him” (Al-Baqara (The Cow) 2:21). The holy Qur’an mentions about Satan that he is a plain enemy of human beings. But the reality is that most people in the world follow the commandments of Satan rather than The Beneficent and they make him an associate partners of Allah. So, the holy Qur’an reveals,” HENCE, do not think that God will fail to fulfil the promise which He gave to His apostles: verily, God is almighty, an avenger of evil!” (Ibrahim (Abraham) 14:47). Therefore, how does Allah gets revenge from the sinful believers, ‘mushriks’ and infidels? The holy Qur’an reveals,” But he who turns away from the remembrance of Me, his will be a narrow life, and I shall bring him blind to the assembly on the Day of Resurrection. He will say My Lord wherefore hast Thou gather me (hither) blind where I was won’t to see? He will say: so (it must be) Our revelation came unto thee but thou didst forget them. In like manner thou are forgotten the Day!” (Ta Ha: 126). Also reveals,” The guilty will be known by their marks, and will be taken by the forelocks and the feat. Which is it, of the favours of your Lord, that ye deny? This is Hell which they go circling round between it and fierce, boiling water” (The Beneficient: 45).” So it is the need of time to follow on the entire commands of Allah Almighty so that we may become safe and sound from the revenge of The Truth and be entered in Paradise.

A special reward for the fasting believers ! Narrated Abu Huraira: Allah's Apostle (peace be upon him) said, “Allah said, 'All the deeds of Adam’s sons (people) are for them, except fasting which is for Me, and I will give the reward for it.’ (Reference : Jami` at-Tirmidhi 764) This “hadith Qudse” reveals that fasting is for Allah Almighty and He the highest, will give the reward for it. But the question arises here: when a faithful believer does every good actions only for Allah and following His command, then why do Allah Almighty says that “I will give the reward for it.” Because eating, drinking and fulfilling the sexual desire are lawful actions for a believer. But in the month of Ramadan, the believer keeps himself away from these actions for a fixed time only for the sake of Allah and His pleasure. And if these actions are free from to be seen in the people or double standard, then Allah will give him the immense reward that is above from his concept and thinking. And fasting is a shield or protection from the fire and from committing sins. According to the hadith, if someone is fasting, then he should avoid sexual relation with his wife and quarreling etc. And if somebody should fight or quarrel with him, he should say, ‘I am fasting.’ By Him in Whose Hands my soul is, the unpleasant smell coming out from the mouth of a fasting person is better in the sight of Allah than the smell of musk. So, the faithful believers should observe fasting to get the immense reward.

By Mohammad Rafique Etesame Month of Ramadan is a very blessed and great month, Allah Almighty Grants His unlimited mercy to the faithful believers. There are many joys for the believers but two are very noteworthy. Abu Hurairah (R.A.) narrated from the messenger of Allah he said: "There are two joys for the fasting person: the joy when he breaks his fast, and the joy when he will meet his Lord" (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 766). As detail firs is that, when the believer has observed fast and now it is evening and various types of food and drinking are placed before him. And when time is over then the believer breaks his fast, and he feels a great pleasure when he eats and drinks. And second is that when he will meet to Allah Almighty at the day of Resurrection and will see to Him as he sees to a full moon, and then he will become a great lighthearted and happy and these are proved by the holy Qur’an and sayings of the holy Prophet PBUH. As regard the holy Qur’an, so it makes mention,” On the day when it befalls in earnest, and they are ordered to prostrate themselves but are not able”, (Surah al-Qalam: 42). It means that Allah Almighty will show off His special manifestation at the Day of Resurrection and the people will be called to fall prostrate before Him, but the infidels, polytheists and the hypocrites will not be able to prostrate and their backs will become hard like iron. And according to the hadith, the holy Prophet PBUH said,” Do you crowd one another in order to see the moon on the night of a full moon? Do you crowd one another in order to see the sun?" They said: "No." He said: "So verily, you shall see your Lord as you see the moon on the night of a full moon, you shall not crowd one another to see Him."(Al-Mishkat) So, due to His unlimited mercy the faithful believers will see to their Lord at the Day of Resurrection and feel great pleasure.

Whether the holy Qur’an is not God’s word and written by Mohammad PBUH? By Mohammad Rafique Etesame Some people and particularly the atheists claim that the holy Qur’an is not God’s world and the Prophet Mohammad PBUH himself has written it though he was illiterate one and knew poetry. They argue that “Muslim apologists say it is a miracle that Muhammad could write a poetic Quran all the while being illiterate.” The question is: who are the “Muslim apologists” that say such and such and where they exist? Because the holy Qur’an challenged to the ‘desert nomadic Bedouins’ and the other Arabians excelled in poetry since its revelation that, “And if ye are in doubt concerning that which We reveal unto Our slave (Muhammad), then produce a surah of the like thereof, and call your witness beside Allah if ye are truthful” ﴾Al-BaqaraH: 23﴿. But none of the native Arabians, the Jews, the Christians and any other opponents of the holy Qur’an in the world, have not produced even a single verse like the holy Qur’an so for after passing more than fourteen centuries over it? And this is quite impossible till the day of Resurrection because this is God’s word and not written by Ummy (illiterate) Prophet PBUH. And also it is totally wrong to say that the holy Prophet was a poet because the holy Qur’an contradicts it as,” And We have not taught him (Muhammad) poetry, nor is it meet for him. This is naught else than a Reminder and a Lecture making plain” ﴾ Yaseen: 69﴿. So those who say that the holy Qur’an is not God’s word and written by a Prophet who knew poetry, they live in the foolish paradise having to authentic proof with them.

Why Hell-Fire has been created and which type of people would enter it? By Mohammad Rafique Etesame Some people and particularly the atheists raise objections on Hell and say that “an evil deity would make hell, just to torture everyone since the deity is so evil.” So the question is: why Hell and Paradise have been created? According to the teaching of Islam, they are created in order to righteous ones should made enter Paradise and the sinful ones into Hell. But the question arises that what are the evil and good and why people commit sins? So, everyone knows better about their definition whether he is a Muslim, atheists, Buddhist or relating to any other religion. Because God has inspired this knowledge into every man’s conscience and he knows well about them without reading to any holy book. For example, every one say that committing adultery, killing others, stealing and suppressing other's rights etc., are bad actions and not good. And on the other hand everyone knows that worshiping God (or gods according to None-Muslims), or to be obedience to parents, or to help the poor, are good actions and not bad. Yet, why some people commit adultery, kill others and do other bad action knowingly? Because they are into the clutches of Satan Iblis and follow his directions, and everyone is trapped in his deception and none can escape from Satan’s tricks but only those who seek Allah’s refuge. Because Satan has sworn that he will send everyone to hell. So going to Hell, is due to following Satan’ tricks and not by Allah’s will. Because He wants to save mankind form Hell-fire and make them enter Paradise. So everyone and particular the Atheists should escape themselves from the clutches of Satan if they can; because this is not so easy and also stop themselves from criticizing on True God.

Two and Two Make only “one” and not four? (3) Muhammad Rafique Etesame As it is mentioned that man is a combination of two parts body and soul physically, and he is also a combination of ‘two’ i.e. necessity and the invention spiritually. And if he wants to be exist for a luxury and everlasting life, then it is necessary to him that he should meet his second part or unit (necessity). And if it is so, i.e. he worships to Allah Almighty, then he will get the great reward as the holy Qur’an reveals,” Whosoever does right, whether male or female, and is a believer, him verily We shall quicken with good life, and We shall pay them a recompense in proportion to the best of what they used to do” (An-Nahal: 97). And,” A similitude of the Garden which those who keep their duty (to Allah) are promised: Therein are rivers of milk whereof the flavor changes not, and rivers of wine delicious to the drinkers, and rivers clear-run honey, therein for them is every kind of fruit, with pardon from their Lord.” (Mohammad: 15) And, on the other hand, if he does not meet, then a painful doom will be his fate and he will become a dead one forever as the holy Qur’an reveals, “And they sought help (from their Lord) and every forward potentate was brought to naught; Hell is before him, and he is made to drink a festering water which he snippets but can hardly sallow, and death comes unto him from every side while yet he cannot die, and before him is a harsh doom.” (Ibrahim: 17) May Allah give us power to fulfill of purpose of life (necessity), so that we may enjoy an everlasting and luxury life, Amin. (The end)

Two and Two Make only “one” and not four? (2) Muhammad Rafique Etesame Look, how the greatness and the oneness of Allah is! That except Him, there is the system of two and two in the entire creation. As mentioned before that: every single part of the two, (both living creatures or any inventions) is Essential to other one for its existence. For example, body of an animal or human being is compulsory and inevitable to its soul, because no soul cannot come into being without a body. The same applies in the body and machinery, as the body is useless without machinery or engine, after meeting or joining the two, a “complete one” comes into being. Now I come to the real point, necessity and the invention is another variety of “two and two”, as it is said that “necessity is the mother of invention.” So, we begin to apply this reality from human being because he has been created only for the worship of Allah the highest as the holy Qur’an reveals,” I created the jinn and humankind only that they might worship Me. I seek no livelihood from them, nor do I ask that they should feed Me. Lo! Allah! He is that giveth livelihood, the Lord of Unbreakable might”. (Az-zariyat: 58) Therefore, worship is necessity and man is the invention to fulfill it, both are the “two units” and compulsory for each one. And this is the universal truth that if the invention does not meet to its necessity, then it is quite useless, and if it is a machinery, then it turns into scrap. (To be continued)

Action, re-Action and the Laws of Nature
shaikhrafique posted a topic in General Islamic Discussions
Action, re-Action and the Laws of Nature By Mohammad Rafique Etesame This is a universal truth that every action has its re-action. It means “if it is so, then it will be so. And this has two parts first one is a condition or term,” If it is so,” and second one is its reward “then it will be so,” in its re-action. It means if the first one is found, then the second one will surely be found. For example, if someone serves his parents, he will be well-wished, if he teases them, he will be cursed, if someone touches the fire, he will be burnt, if he handles the ice, he will be cold, if he eats poison, he will die, if he drinks water, it will quench his thirst, and if he eats the meal, it will satisfy his hunger. Similarly, if someone obeys Allah’s commandment, he will be granted good reward and if he commits sins, infidelity or shirk, he will be punished, and if he repents, he will be forgiven his sins etc. All these re-actions or consequences, are not automatically or by themselves, but due to Allah’s commandment. The holy Qur’an reveals,” The decision is for Allah only. He tells the truth and He is the Best of Deciders” ﴾ Surah Anam57﴿. These are some examples of the action and re-action, and these are according to that, “as you sow, so shall you reap”. Infect, this is Allah’s way or His laws that can never be changed; as it is mentioned in the Holy Qur’an, Such has been God’s way with those who [sinned in like manner and] passed away aforetime - and never wilt thou find any change in God’s way!” (Al-Ahzab 33:62). As we know that every government has its constitution and a penal code for the citizens. And according to it, the honorable Judges decide the cases and If they find someone violates the Laws of his country, then they order to arrest him and then he will be dealt according to the law. Similarly, this universe is Allah’s ‘country’ and He is the absolute Master, the powerful King of His regime having no partner in His sovereignty. He created man kind for His worship and made a constitution or way of life for him, the Holy Qur’an makes mention, “This day have I perfected your religion for you and completed My favor unto you, and have chosen for you as religion AL-ISLAM.(Il-Maidah:3). These verses revealed at the day when the holy Prophet PBUH delivered a farewell sermon of his last pilgrimage (خطبة الوداع Friday the 9th of Dhu al-Hijjah). According to these verses ‘the constitution’ of Allah’s Regime is only Islam and no other religion will be excepted, as the holy Qur’an reveals, “And whoso seeks as religion other than the Surrender (to Allah i.e. Al-Islam), it will not be accepted from him, and he will be a loser in the Hereafter.” (Family of Imran: 85). He gave the warning to man that if he obeys the orders of Allah, then he will be awarded Paradise, and if he violates this constitution, then he will be thrown in the Hell-fire. Allah Almighty will set up a “Highly authorized Supreme Court” at the Day of Resurrection and He will be the Chief Justice of it and will decide the cases according to Islam. These decisions at the Day of Judgment will be infect, the re-action of man's good or bad actions that had been done in this world. As it is mentioned before that those who violate and disobey this constitution i.e. the infidels or mushriks, they will be arrested and be punished at the Day of Resurrection as the holy Qur’an reveals,” The guilty will be known by their marks, and will be taken by the forelocks and the feat. Which is it, of the favors of your Lord, that ye deny? This is Hell which they go circling round between it and fierce, boiling water” (The Beneficient: 45). On the other hand, those who accept Islam and surrender themselves, so the holy Qur’an reveals about them,” (And) those who believe and do good works are the best of created beings. Their reward is with their Lord: Gardens of Eden underneath which rivers flow, wherein they dwell forever. Allah has pleasure in them and they have pleasure in Him. (This is (in store) for him who fears his Lord. (Al-Bayyenah: 8) So, it is necessary for everyone to obey all the commandments of Allah Almighty according to the good example of the holy Prophet (Mohammad)PBUH and do good actions so that he may get the immense reward for their ‘re-actions’ and pass a successful life forever. -
What is the hurt of human Body and Hurt of its Soul? By Mohammad Rafique Etesame Almighty Allah says, in the holy Qur’an, "And for man is that which he strives for, and then his striving will be seen, and then he will be recompensed for it in full" (Surah An-Najm: 41). These verse reveal that, there is nothing for man but what about he strives for, whether it is a matter of his livelihood or some other purpose, striving is must. Human being is a mixture of body and soul. And when after an appointed time he dies, then only his body dies and not his soul but it remains alive in the world of ‘Barzakh’, and its life is everlasting. Please consider, when a person dies and is buried in the grave, he will remain in the grave till the Day of Resurrection. No one can know how much time is left when the dead will be raised again at the Day of Resurrection becausu It is very difficult to determine it. Similarly, when accountability will be finished and the people will go to Paradise or Hell, then it is impossible to determine that how long time they will stay therein. So, this is the uncounted time since the creation of the soul up to its ending in Paradise or Hell? This is the brief description of the long life of human soul. Second is that, as a person's physical life is temporary, so it’s comfort and pain and trouble is also temporary. For example, if he does hard work or keeps his duty and becomes tired at evening, then he becomes fresh again after having a sound sleep and also is ready to go his daily work in the next day. In the same way, God not willing, if he faces an accident and is injured or falls ill, then by taking medicine and by proper treatment, he become healthy again. And if it is not so and death comes by Allah’s command, it eliminates all kinds of ailments and problems of his body, and this is the last solution of his physical problems. While on the other hand, if human soul suffers any calamity or illness due not to accept the true guidance (i.e. religion of Islam) from the holy messenger of Allah Almighty and he is not Muslim, then he can never get rid of his spiritual diseases and problem and its abode will be a painful doom in the Hell. when at the Day of Resurrection his book of deed will be given to him in his left hands then what will be happened, the holy Quran reveals about it, ” But as for him who is given his record in his left hand, he will say: Oh, would that I had not been given my book and knew not what my reckoning! Oh, would that it had been death! My wealth has not availed me, My power has gone from me. (It will be said): Take him and fetter him And then expose him to hell-fire And then insert him in a chain whereof the length is seventy cubits. Lo! He used not to believe in Allah the Tremendous” ﴾ Surah Haqqah:33﴿. And those who keep their duty to Allah and fear Him and hope to His mercy, then they will enjoy a luxury life as the holy Qur’an reveals,” “Whosoever does right, whether male or female, and is a believer, him verily we shall quicken with good life, and We shall pay them a recompense in proportion to the best of what they used to do”. ﴾An-Nahal: 97﴿ The point is: the real and eternal life is the life of the soul, which is everlasting and never ending, be it is the life of comfort or a life of torment and pain and trouble. So, if someone wants to be successful one both in this world and also in the Hereafter and wants to enjoy an eternal and peaceful spiritual life, so he/she accept Islam and act upon its teachings, Ameen.

Real meaning of Tawakkul (Putting trust in God) Muhammad Rafique Etesame Almighty Allah Says in the holy Quran,”And whosoever putts his trust in Allah, He will suffice him” (At-Talaq :3), also Says,”In Allah let believers put their trust” (Al-Maidah :11). According to the teachings of Islam, every faithful believer should put his trust in Allah Almighty every time and in any event. Human being is a weak and helpless creature and seeks someone who can support him and can solve his problems. So, Allah Almighty is the best Supporter and the best Helper of a faithful believer as the above mentioned verses reveal. He is the absolute King of the universe and is able to do all things and nothing can be done without His will and command. If He wants someone to take him in profit, then there is none to loss him, and if He wants to loss anyone, then there is none to profit him. So it is necessary to a faithful believer to put his trust always in Allah Almighty. This is the Divine law that every work and need of human being is fulfilled by some sources and means. For example, Allah has promised for provision to mankind, but it can be had only by business, services or by someone’s help, though Allah can send it down directly from the heaven, but it is against His law. And mankind has to make efforts to gain it through sources. But the real tawakkul or trust is that the mankind should put his trust in always Allah though there are no apparent sources he finds for his requirements. Because Allah is the Causer of causes, and the One who can causes things to be done. His decree is first, then it is decided that by which means it will be enforced. So a faithful believer should make a supplication to Allah Almighty asking for his needs and desires and should not think about their apparent origins. Then Allah will fulfill them according to His wisdom and destiny. The holy Quran reveals, “But His command, when He intends a thing, is only that he says unto it: Be! And it is” (ya Sin: 82).

A heavy burden of bad deeds By Mohammad Rafique Etesame When the holy Prophet Mohammad PBUH began to invite the infidels to accept Islam in Mecca, then those who accepted it and became Muslims, to whom the infidels used to say, “please back again to your previous religion and quite Islam, and in case if you would be questioned about it at the Day or Resurrection, then name ourselves before Allah, we would bear your burden.” So the holy Qur’an reveals,” Yet most certainly will they have to bear their own burdens, and other burdens besides their own; and most certainly will they be called to account on Resurrection Day for all their false assertions!” Al-'Ankabut (The Spider) 29:13 These verses make it clear that those who deviate other people from the straight path of Islam, will bear their burden along with their own burden. The question is: what does mean the ‘burden’ here, whether it is the same burden like that of animal bear? The holy Qur’an makes mention about it,” God does not burden any human being with more than he is well able to bear: in his favour shall be whatever good he does, and against him whatever evil he does” (Al-Baqara (The Cow) 2:286). ‘Burden’ means here to accept the religion of Islam and to act upon its commands. This burden is, in fact a duty imposed by Allah Almighty on His bondsmen as the real way of worship. And those who accept to bear this and pays their duty, then they are the successful ones. And those who adopt anther religion rather than Islam or they are atheists, then it means that they deny to bear this, so they will be cast into hell fir due to their bad actions and this is the real meanings of ‘burden’. According to the commentators, whatever man commits good deeds or sins, these convert into various shapes having weight into them and these would be measured or weighed into a special scale at the Day of Resurrection. The holy Qur’an reveals,” The weighing on that day is the true (weighing). As for those whose scale is heavy, they are the successful. ﴾8﴿ And as for those whose scale is light: those are they who lose their souls because they used to wrong Our revelations.” Al-A'raf (The Heights) 7:8 These verses reveal that: the actions that will be done according to the teachings of Islam, their scale will be heavy and this man will be successful one and will be entered the Paradise. while the actions done according to another religion, will become light and these will be the losers and will be cast into hell fire. The holy Qur’an reveals,” They indeed are losers who deny their meeting with Allah until, when the Hour cometh on them suddenly, they cry: Alas for us, that we neglected it! They bear upon their backs their burdens. Ah, evil is that which they bear!” (Al-An'am (The Cattle) 6:31) So, it is necessary for man that he should do such type of actions that will become heavy while they will be weighed in the scale at the Day of Resurrection and he might be successful. And the only way for it is: man should bear his own burden (by accepting Islam) in this world, so that he would be protected from the hell fire and may be entered the Paradise.

The Truth and falsehood….6 Sixth principle is that: there is the Truth in entire universe as a whole, but falsehood exists in the heart of man. By Mohammad Rafique Etesame The entire universe has been created by the truth and not by playing as the holy Qur’an reveals,” For [thus it is:] We have not created the heavens and the earth and all that is between them in mere idle play.” (Ad-Dukhan (The Smoke) 44:38) And in comparison to the Truth, there is falsehood consists of Devil Iblis and his disciples. The question i: what does it mean that there is the Truth in the entire universe as a whole, but falsehood exists in the heart of man? It means that falsehood do not make mischief in the universe or to fight the angels or to the good Muslims, or they mess up to the universe or cause harm to the mountains or jungles etc. It means it misleads man form inner self i.e. from his heart or conscience. Because heart has great importance in the teachings of Islam as the holy Qur’an reveals,” Already have We urged unto hell many of the jinn and humankind, having hearts wherewith they understand not, and having eyes wherewith they see not, and having ears wherewith they hear not. These are as the cattle - nay, but they are worse! These are the neglectful”. (Al-A'raf (The Heights) 7:179) And according to the hadith the holy Prophet PBUH said,” In the body there is a piece of flesh, and the whole body is sound if it is sound, but the whole body is corrupt if it is corrupt. It is the heart.” (Bukhari and Muslim) Devil is not an external creature of the universe; but Allah has created him to test human being. And Allah gave him power to mislead mankind, in order to see that what kind of way good or bad he chooses, whether to obey Allah’s command or to follow whispering of Satan? Another internal power that misleads man is ‘nafse ammarah’ (inordinate soul) that exists in the human body and a powerful element of falsehood as the holy Qur’an reveals, “I do not exculpate myself. Lo! the (human) soul enjoins unto evil, save that whereon my Lord hath mercy. Lo! my Lord is Forgiving, Merciful” (12:53). Now, Satan is the plain enemy of mankind; these two powers of falsehood mislead man form his heart, until they make him like ‘cattle’ but worse than it. Because he does not understand anything from Divine inspiration and deny the teachings of Islam. So they go astray by the falsehood as the None-Muslims and Atheists etc. Now, this is the need of time to pay full attention to the heart to make it sound for acceptance of guidance and to save him from the tricks of Satan and nafse ammarah. in order to become successful one in this world and in the Hereafter.

Authentic proof of five salawats (prayers) from the holy Qur’an By Mohammad Rafique Etesame Some people are doubtful about five salats being offered by the Muslims daily, particularly those who called themselves “Ahle Qur’an” and deny the sayings of the holy Prophet PBUH that, these are not proved five by the holy Qur’an. Their claim is totally unbiased because the holy Qur’an clearly mentions about the five salats, so it makes mention,” Establish worship at the two ends of the day and in some watches of the night. Lo! good deeds annul ill-deeds. This is reminder for the mindful” (surah Hud 11:114). In this verse,” Establish worship at the two ends of the day,” there is the proof of four salats i.e. fajar, zuhar, asar and maghrab and “in some watches of the night,” reveals about the aisha prayer, these are five. Another verse reveals that,” Establish worship at the going down of the sun until the dark of night, and (the recital of) the Qur'an at dawn. Lo!” (the recital of the Qur’an in prayer at dawn is indeed witnessed.” (Al-Isra (The Journey by Night) 17:78). This verse also reveals about five prayers, as from “Establish worship at the going down of the sun until the dark of night” states the four salats, zurar, asar, maghrab and isha prayers. Because after going down of the sun, the time of zuhar prayer begins, after that asar and “until the dark of night” reveals two i.e. maghrib and isha. And in the recital of the Qur’an in prayer at dawn, states the fajar prayer. So, in these two verses there is the proof of five prayers. Five salats are also proved by the ‘hadith mutawater.’ (The holy Qur’an, translated by late Shaikhul Hind maulana Mahmoodul Hasan, tafseer by Allama Shabbir Ahmad usmani, may Allah Almighty have mercy on them)

Satan will deliver a lecture before his followers at the Day of Resurrection By Mohammad Rafique Etesame Allah Almighty Says in the holy Qur’an,” And Satan says, when the matter has been decided: Lo! Allah promised you a promise of truth; and I promised you, then failed you. And I had no power over you save that I called unto you and ye obeyed me. So blame not, but blame yourselves. I cannot help you, nor can ye help me, Lo! I disbelieved in that which ye before ascribed to me. Lo! for wrong-doers is a painful doom” ( Ibrahim 14:22). According to the commentators, when the matter will be decided i.e. accountability will be finished at the Day of Resurrection, and those who are deserving Paradise will be entered it and those who are deserving Hellfire, will be entered it. Then the owners of Hellfire will say to Satan Ibils,” we had followed your commands in our lives and acted upon your whisperings and committed shirk, and due to that now we are deserving Hellfire. So, please intercede us with Allah Almighty so that we may get rid of this pain full doom?” Hearing that, Satan will deliver a lecture before them saying, “O My faithful followers, it is ok that you obeyed me, but do you not know that Allah Almighty has promised you a true promise through His holy messengers (peace be upon them) that, if you would accept the religion of Islam and follow the good example of the holy Prophets Peace be upon them, then you would become the successful ones in your lives and Allah would forgive your sins and would made enter Paradise. Also they invited you to consider in the signs exist in your souls and also the horizontal signs in the universe, and creation of the heavens and the earth, day and night, and the sun and the moon etc. But you denied all, and rejected to act upon the truth (Islam) and choose for you the bad way of falsehood instead. So now, you are the worthy of this, and I cannot help you at all, I also fear Allah Almighty and from His painful doom. The holy Qur’an reveals so that we may become alert in order to avoid the tricks of Satan and Prepare for the Hereafter.

The Truth and Falsehood…..5 By Mohammad Rafique Etesame "The truth does not bow but makes the falsehood bow down" The holy Qur’an reveals, “We created not the heaven and the earth and all that is between them in play. If We had wished to find a pastime, We could have found it in Our presence-----if We ever did." There are four things that are known by these verses as:This universe has not been created mere as play but there is a special purpose behind it i.e. to worship Allah Almighty. The war between the truth and falsehood is going on since the creation of the universe. Allah Almighty hurl the truth over falsehood and it vanishes and the truth becomes ever victorious. We can see this reality in the time of the past holy Prophets PBUT that when they invited their ummah to accept the religion of Islam, most of them tried to stop the invitation and ill-treated and harassed to the holy Prophet PBUT instead. But by the Divine help, the truth became victorious and made the falsehood bow down. In the time of the last holy Prophet Mohammad PBUH, when he began to invite the people to accept the religion of Islam in Mecca, the infidels thought that,” this is a timely invitation made by a man who is an orphan and had no male offspring, and the invitation would reach to its end soon after the passing away of this man.” But when they noticed that Islam was spreading fast to everywhere and also when they were defeated in many holy wars (ghazwats) i.e. ghazwae badar, uhad khandaq etc., then they thought that, “this thing was not going to stop then.” And at last, after passing some time, the holy Prophet PBUH entered the Mecca city victoriously along with his ten thousand companions (peace and mercy of Allah by upon them). At that time 360 idols were placed on the roof of Ka’ba sharif and the holy prophet PBUH made them fall down by a stick one by one reciting this verse,” And say: truth has come and falsehood vanishes away. Lo! Falsehood is ever bound to vanish” (Al-Isra :81). After that the world witnessed that Islam overtook the two super powers ‘’ Qaisar o Hinduism, Buddhism or between Kisra” (The Rome and the Iranian governments) and caused them bow down before Islam. Even now we see that where there are holy wars are going on against Islam, or any debate is set up between Islam and Christianity, another religion, Islam ever remains victorious.

The Truth and falsehood--4 “The Truth is needless and selfless.” The holy Qur’an makes mention,” Say: He is Allah, the One! ﴾1﴿ Allah, the eternally Besought of all! ﴾2﴿ He begetteth not nor was begotten. ﴾3﴿ And there is none comparable unto Him (Surah Ikhlas). (Translated by Mohammad Marmaduke Pickthall) From this Surah, the glory and Highness of Allah Almighty is shown that He is the Selfless as He does not need anything from the creatures nor does He need any help or advice in carrying out His work and He is from Himself and is Self-Sustaining and the Omnipotent. If all the people of the world become extremely virtuous and of high character, then the kingdom, honor and glory of Allah (SWT) cannot be exceeded in the slightest. And on the other hand, if all the people become extremely sinful and disobedient ones, then His monarchy and glory cannot be diminished in the slightest. Worship, humility and need are for man's own benefits and survival. The Almighty has no interest in it because Angels are enough for his worship. And Allah Almighty has bestowed some Muslims by this attribute. And it can be seen in a man who earns halal money, offers prayers for five times daily, does not violate his rights and duties, and a contented one who does not ask for anything from others but in serious need. And in order to civilize the human soul and to make it obedient to Allah and His messenger PBUH, Some elders of the religion and shaykhs have suggested to adopt four good actions to their followers as: - Taking less food. Reduction of manam (less sleep). Reduction of speaking. Reduction of meeting with people. All these fair qualities are proved by Islamic teachings but everything should be done in moderation and avoiding from excess and deficiency.

The Truth and falsehood---3 “The Truth grants coolness and tranquility into the breasts.” By Mohammad Rafique Etesame When a Muslim acts upon Islamic teachings following Allah’s commandments and Sunnah of the holy Prophet PBUH, then peace and coolness comes to his/her heart due to this. The holy Qur’an makes mention, “Know! The remembrance of Allah gives satisfaction to the hearts” (Al Qur'an). There are many ways to remembrance of Allah as, to establish worship for five times daily, fasting of Ramadan, paying Zakat, offering Hajj, Nawafil, Tasbeeh, Tahmeed, Tahlil and Takbir etc. Therefore, whenever a Muslim offers these worships, then he is granted with the eternal wealth of peace and contentment that cannot be described in words. It is said that, if the kings knew that what type of sweetness and pleasure of the heart gets these poor worshippers by waking up at night and performing Tahajjud, they would fight them to snatch this “wealth” just as they fight to others to snatch the land. Usually, If the month of Ramadan falls in summer season, when the heat makes the body restless, even then the Muslims fast, and also those who are patients of diabetes and to whom the doctors have forbidden to fast. Similarly, Mujahideen (the Islamic soldiers who fight in the way of Allah), do not stop offering prayers even that hey have to offer them in bullets; and the patient who is lying on his death bed, if he cannot speak, gestures to others to make him offer prayers. The question is who forced him to do so? Because he knows better that the secret of the survival of my life is in the offering prayers. All these examples show that the real pleasure and tranquility of a believer exists only in the remembrance of Allah and it is dearer to him then his life. On the other hand, those who are None-Muslims and/or infidels and polytheists etc. They never find state of peace and tranquility and they always remain restless and burn in the heat of sorrow and worry.
