Hassan Ibinu Thabit Radiya Allahu A’aneh was an Arabian poet and one of the Sahhaba. He was born in Yathrib (Medina), and was member of the Banu Khazraj tribe. According to tradition, he was the court poet to Muhammad Salla Allahu A’alayhi Wa Sallam. Hassan Ibinu Thabit Radiya Allahu A’aneh was famous in all of Hejaz for his poetry and after accepting Islam, used his poetry to defend the honor of Prophet Muhammad Salla Allahu A’alayhi Wa Sallam.
