  1. You and your heart are more in need of Allah than you can possibly ever imagine...

  2. @KatZaynub: It is upon a servant to make Allaah (subhaana wa ta’laa) one and the only one solely allowed for worship to be directed to.

  3. Remember every chapter of the Quran except one starts with "In the name of Allah, the Most Compassionate the Most Merciful." Allah is most forgiving to those who repent and seek His forgiveness. If you really want to be guided He will guide you.
  4. Verily, Allaah is the All-Provider, Owner of Power, the Most Strong. (Adh-Dhariyat 51:58)

  8. “He (Allaah) knows what happens to them (His creatures) in this world, and what will happen to them (in the Hereafter) but they will never compass anything of His Knowledge” [Ta-Ha 20:110]

  9. Nothing can wear you out sometimes like caring too much about people.

  13. The only way to make a right decision is when you know what the wrong decision is. And so you ditch the wrong one

  14. Be at peace. Not in pieces. #patience

  15. By creating you as His slave, He created you free. Completely free. You had freedom; freedom from fears, heartaches, rejection from the creation, dependence on humans, begging them for love and care... By turning away from this gift of freedom, you enslaved yourself. You entered into this prison of desires, pain, fear, hope and trust in the humans, by choice. In just being a slave of Allah, you have freedom and security. In being a slave of every creation, there is fear of loss and restlessness. Remember bearing witness to la ilaha illAllah has two parts: A negation first. Then an affirmation. First you say and believe la ilaha. By doing so, you free your heart of every enslavement. Then you affirm: illAllah. Now you are a slave of Him alone. You were born free. Don't die a prisoner.
  16. No, don't say "O Allah why me always..." Allah does not wrong anyone. Accept the reality: it's we who wrong ourselves.

  17. Honestly so what if you could not marry the one you wanted to? So what if your son is giving "more time" to his wife than you? If you still have the greatest blessing (faith/Islam) know that YOU ARE OK AND BLESSED. Stop being overly grieved over such concerns. Sure they hurt. But to let that grief consume you and make you unable to function is wrong. Life is full of trials and pains. Accept them, repent to Allah, seek His help and MOVE ON. How can you be consumed 24/7 by the worries of this world when you should be grateful you have the blessing of Islam, which many people don't have. Many people still prostrate to stones and carved idols. Allah gave you Islam. But despite this greatest blessing, sometimes all we say, when some worldly calamity strikes, is "O Allah, why me..." How shortsighted and impatient man is...
  18. When you love someone more than your Creator, that very someone becomes the cause of your greatest pain.

  19. When you love someone more than your Creator, that very someone becomes the cause of your greatest pain.

  20. There is a difference between love and attachment. Love is when you give. And you are still 'alive' when the loved one is taken away from you. Attachment is when you just 'take' and you become totally consumed with grief and unable to function when the 'attachment' is taken away from you. Love is good, attachment is not. It's unhealthy. If you want to go through one of the worst pains in life and bitter disappointment, get attached to someone. Simple love should not cause us to act like drug addicts. Apart from love and attachments, there is something else we need to pay attention to: concern. What is our concern the entire day...the entire life. Read this: Ibn al-Qayyim (may Allaah have mercy on him) said: “When a person spends his entire day with no other concern but Allaah alone, Allaah, may He be glorified, will take care of all his needs and take care of all that is worrying him; He will empty his heart so that it will be filled only with love for Him, free his tongue so that it will speak only in remembrance of Him (dhikr) and cause all his faculties to work only in obedience to Him. But if a person spends his entire day with no other concern but this world, Allaah will make him bear its distress, anxiety and pain; He will leave him to sort himself out, and cause his heart to be distracted from the love of Allaah towards the love of some created being, cause his tongue to speak only in remembering people instead of remembering Allaah, and cause him to use his talents and energy in obeying and serving them. So he will strive hard, labouring like some work-animal, to serve something other than Allaah… Everyone who turns away from being a true slave of Allaah and obeying Him and loving Him will be burdened with servitude, love and obedience to some created being. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): ‘And whosoever turns away (blinds himself) from the remembrance of the Most Beneficent (Allaah), We appoint for him a shaytaan (devil) to be a qareen (intimate companion) to him.’ [al-Zukhruf 43:36].” Al-Fawaa’id, p. 159 It was narrated that Anas (may Allaah be pleased with him) said: The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: “Whoever is mainly concerned about the Hereafter, Allaah will make him feel independent of others and will make him focused and content, and his worldly affairs will fall into place. But whoever is mainly concerned with this world, Allaah will make him feel in constant need of others and will make him distracted and unfocused, and he will get nothing of this world except what is decreed for him.” (Narrated by al-Tirmidhi, 2389; classed as saheeh by Shaykh al-Albaani in Saheeh al-Jaami’, 6510). Bottom line: Turn to Allah in repentance. Ask Allah, beseech Him, to make His Pleasure your only concern. Then try to change for the better. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): “Whoever works righteousness — whether male or female — while he (or she) is a true believer (of Islamic Monotheism) verily, to him We will give a good life (in this world with respect, contentment and lawful provision), and We shall pay them certainly a reward in proportion to the best of what they used to do (i.e. Paradise in the Hereafter)” [al-Nahl 16:97]

  24. Turn your wounds into wisdom.

  25. The more a person learns about his Lord and His names and attributes, the more sincere he will be in his intentions. The more he learns about his Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him), the more he will follow him. By having a sincere intention towards Allaah and by following His Messenger (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) he will attain salvation in this world and in the Hereafter.
