Bismillah Walhamdulillah Was Salaatu Was Salaam 'ala Rasulillah As-Salaam Alaikum Wa-Rahmatullahi Wa-Barakatuhu Loot to the Cause of Allah - 6th Rajab 1431 (18th June 2010) Narrated Ibn 'Umar (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): Umar bin Al-Khattab expelled all the Jews and Christians from the land of Hijaz. Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) after conquering Khaibar, thought of expelling the Jews from the land which, after he conquered it belonged to Allah, Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) and the Muslims. But the Jews requested Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) to leave them there on the condition that they would do the labor and get half of the fruits (the land would yield). Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "We shall keep you on these terms as long as we wish." Thus they stayed till the time of 'Umar's Caliphate when he expelled them to Taima and Ariha. Bukhari Vol. 4 : No. 380

Salaam. unwillingly , unknowingly we may think or utter something that may take us out of Islam ( may Allah forbid). So , whenever u get a chance , utter the Shahada , I give testify that there is no god but Allah and Muhammed pbuh is His slave and Messenger .

Salaam Narrated 'Amr bin Taghlib (Radi-Allahu 'anhu): Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) gave (gifts) to some people to the exclusion of some others. The latter seemed to be displeased by that. The Prophet (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) said, "I give to some people, lest they should deviate from True Faith or lose patience, while I refer other people to the goodness and contentment which Allah has put in their hearts, and 'Amr bin Taghlib is amongst them." 'Amr bin Taghlib said, "The statement of Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) is dearer to me than red camels." Narrated Al-Hasan: 'Amr bin Taghlib told us that Allah's Apostle (Sallallahu 'Alaihi Wa Sallam) got some property or some war prisoners and he distributed them in the above way (i.e. giving to some people to the exclusion of others). Bukhari Vol. 4 : No. 373

Salaam sis nadous , may be , this is the saddest part in a new Muslims life . I know we are not allowed to pray for salvation of non-Muslims but not sure if we are allowed to give charity on behalf of them . May be , u can talk to a Mufti ?

Asalamu'alaikum I planted some fruit trees beside the grave of my beloved dad and grand ma. Will this be considered as Sadaqa Jarea ?

Asalamu'alaikum no one taught me this when i was a kid. Now I know it but feel shy to give salam to mom , brothers :oops: :ashamed2: I am trying to teach my nieces and nephews to give Salam to each others. Thanks for the reminder . InshaAllah i will teach them to give salam while entering house.

Asalamu'alaikum sis , try to make this dua for dad as taguht in holy Quran. لرَّبِّ ارْحَمْهُمَا كَمَا رَبَّيَانِي صَغِيرًا "My Lord! Bestow on them Your Mercy as they did bring me up when I was young." Al-Isra verse 24

Asalamu'alaikum my eyes are filled with tears. Sis , ur poem reminds me of my late father . I lost him about 2 years back. May Allah forgives my dad , you dad and us and grant us paradise . Ameen.
