A Muslim Submits....

 

Islam is submission. As Muslims we submit, surrender and hand over ourselves to the Divine command of Allah Ta‘ala and the perfect Sunnah of Nabi (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam).

 

In our Imaan (Faith), we submit and surrender our intelligence and understanding to believe in Allah Ta‘ala and in the unseen, as explained to us by Nabi (sallallahu ‘alaihi wasallam).

 

In our Salaah (Daily prayers), we submit and surrender our physical limbs and place them down before Allah Ta‘ala. In fasting we submit and surrender our desire to eat and drink for the pleasure of Allah Ta‘ala.

 

In Zakaat (Charity) and Qurbaani(Scarifice) we submit and surrender our wealth for the pleasure of Allah Ta‘ala.

 

In Haj (Pilgrimage)we submit and surrender to the command of Allah Ta‘ala by sacrificing our health, wealth, time and homeland; and we present ourselves in the blessed lands in search of the grace and mercy of Allah Ta‘ala.

 

A Muslim is an embodiment of submission.

It is hard to choose but I would suggest it remain where it is - there was a reason you posted it there and insha'Allah it will make it easier for non-Muslims in the future to discover it easily. Besides those of us following the forum have been blessed with it (jazakAllah khayran) so it is available to us all and always will be insha'Allah.

The concept of submission could also be understood ' a refusal to everything that negates and against the divine consent'. If one negates everything then he or can be called as obedient to Allah (SWT).
